Homeward Bound.

Well, the lack of snow (and subsequent lack of activities for me to pursue) here in Tahoe has chased me away. So, I'm flying to NM to avoid the insanity that would claim me were I to remain here. Of course, I woke up to a couple inches of snow at the house and this forecast online:

A DEVELOPING STORM IN THE GULF OF ALASKA IS FORECAST TO BRING
STRONG WINDS AND HEAVY SNOW TO THE SIERRA LATE SUNDAY AND SUNDAY
NIGHT. THE LATEST COMPUTER MODELS INDICATE OVER A FOOT OF SNOW
POSSIBLE IN THE NORTHERN AND CENTRAL SIERRA ABOVE 7000 FEET WITH
SEVERAL INCHES OF SNOW FORECAST IN WESTERN NEVADA VALLEYS BY
MONDAY MORNING.
So, maybe things will be ready to go by the time I get back. At least I can hope.

What the view from my porch should look like:

Rain

It's November. In Tahoe. When precipitation arrives it should be in some sort of crystalline form. This is not currently the case. Bloody weather.

Goodbye Utah...

We had a good go of it. You were good to me at times, and oh so bad at others. But that doesn't matter. I've found somewhere else. I've moved on. You always knew I'd go back to California sometime. You and I just weren't meant to be. But let's leave this on good terms. Maybe I'll come and visit.
